Hi, this is Leon Sabarsky, Senior Agile Coach, Transformation Experts, with a recap of our last Taste of Agile event:
The topics of our Advanced Agile breakout group centered on creating a community of practice, careers, and how to help your team become high-performing.
Creating a Community of Practice - we discussed creating a community of practice for our regular Saturday Taste of Agile attendees. we came up with a list of working agreements that we wanted the community of practice to have and we discussed why there were important to the group. Check out the list below (left side of picture of Jamboard). I'm excited for the creation of this community of practice and for the future.
Careers - we discussed what types of careers were out in the marketplace for Agilists, what employers and HR were looking for, what certifications were meaningful to us personally and what certifications did we think were important to HR depts and employers. One takeaway is to create a list of certifications in different categories or roles as a resource for our community.
How to help your team become high-performing - We discussed what is a high-performing team, what the definition of a high-performing team was and what were the qualities of a high-performing team. I've included some links below that resonated with me about high-performing teams.
What are your thoughts? Please share in the forum. See you next Saturday!
