Agile Coach Position
The Agile Coach will be responsible for leading the re-launch of an agile team, conducting Scrum Master training, facilitating the initial sprint setup, and implementing a sustainable coaching framework. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and possess strong facilitation and coaching skills. Additionally, the Agile Coach should be bilingual, and fluent in both English and Spanish, to effectively communicate and train diverse team members.

High-ranking coaching certification relevant to Agile coaching. Acceptable certifications include Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC), Certified Team Coach (CTC), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Expert in Agile Coaching (ICE-AC), or equivalent.
Location: Remote for specific tasks, with some hybrid work required for ongoing coaching and sustainability.
Job Type: Contract
Duration: Estimated 160 hours of work divided into various phases over a period of months.
Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master with a strong track record in Agile transformations.

Deep knowledge of Agile principles, practices, and frameworks, especially Scrum.

Experience with team assessments and optimal team dynamics.

Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including fluency in both English and Spanish.

Ability to work remotely and adapt to a hybrid working environment as needed.

Experience in using actual product backlogs for training and development purposes.
Responsibilities

Launch new Agile teams.

Assess the current team composition and skill set to identify any gaps.

Ensure alignment of team members with the new goals and clarify their roles.

Deliver comprehensive training on Agile and Scrum, including its history, basics, roles, events, and artifacts.

Facilitate Scrum simulation exercises using actual product backlogs from Intermex Direct.

Guide the team through initial backlog creation, prioritization, and the definitions of Ready and Done.

Facilitate all Scrum events necessary to initiate the first sprint.

Conduct sessions on backlog refinement and story point estimation.

Review and adjust working agreements as necessary.

Observe team dynamics and provide actionable feedback and recommendations.

Perform coaching sessions for Scrum Masters and Product Owners.

Support leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of Agile processes.

Develop and implement a sustainability plan to maintain Agile practices.
