The Business Analyst serves as a crucial link between our information technology capabilities and our business objectives. This role involves gathering and documenting requirements, establishing success criteria for features, and fully understanding the program’s domain.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

At least 2 years of experience as a business analyst, with a track record of effective functional specifications.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proactive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Solid analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in PowerBI, Tableau, and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business or Information Technology

Fluent in both English and Spanish

Experience in the financial services or payments industry

Key Responsibilities

Lead discussions on system features from both business and technical perspectives.

Document system requirements, interfaces, and reporting needs comprehensively.

Translate business needs into technical specifications.

Prepare detailed specifications for features/releases, clearly defining problems, goals, and acceptance criteria.

Develop and deliver both ad hoc and standard reports as needed.

Establish domain expertise in system specifications, including third-party vendor certifications.

Evaluate and improve business processes, anticipating requirements and uncovering areas for improvement.

Stay updated on the latest IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

Conduct productive meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

Perform user acceptance testing and assist in developing test cases to ensure alignment with requirements.

Manage competing resources and priorities efficiently.
