My Agile Experience: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Updated: Mar 17, 2021

What can we learn about the challenges and achievements of the Agile Journey?

The Agile journey is a step by step, day by day process in which the agilist attempts to understand what the Agile mindset is. At the same time, he or she tries to implement its principles while working with a team that is on its way to become an Agile Team. The word that could best describe this process is “complex”.

In this meetup Godwin Nwaugha, a passionate servant-leader and a seasoned Scrum Master with more than 5 years of experience, shares and reflects on his Agile journey by segmenting it into three chunks that he called the good, the bad and the ugly. He highlights what he learned in each chapter, how that experience shaped what he thought Agile should be, and what tools he acquired to move forward as a scrum master and agilist.

Godwin takes us through his journey including the bumps on the road and the happy places he encountered to finally offer up an invitation to continue on our route with some lessons learned. Although he warns us these might not seem groundbreaking, they do equip you to walk lightly, wisely and firmly towards high performance.
